Dinosaur King for Nintendo DS

I bought Dinosaur King for the Nintendo DS for my 10 year-old son. He had watched the cartoon and wanted to play the game. Since he has gotten it he has very seldom played another game. He loves it. He is extremely interested in dinosaurs, and this game gives him the chance to learn more about them.
The graphics on Dinosaur King for the Nintendo DS are great. My son keeps bringing the game in to me so that I can see how the dinosaurs look and act. The dinosaurs are supposed to be elemental, but there are more elements than the regular four: earth, wind, fire, and water. There is also grass and others. In order to dig up the fossils and get the dinosaurs, the player must figure out where the fossils were actually found in real life. This is the educational value of the game. If a child likes dinosaurs, then this game is good about teaching them more about them.

Young children don't play games to see blood and gore and this game doesn't show that stuff. That is one of the great things about it. If you want your child to play games for educational purposes, then you don't want complicated plots, blood and gore, or things they can't understand. Dinosaur King has a plot so simple that my 6 year-old also plays it, there is no blood and gore, and it is easy to understand. Buying this game for my son was one of the best moves I could have made.
